I went to a big box store today! I had not been in this store in months. While walking around, I quickly realized why. Shopping online is so much easier, there’s no dealing with crowds, AND often it’s easier to compare prices to get the best deal! Especially if you use an online shopping platform that helps provide discounts or cashback options. I’ve been using Rakuten for years (formerly known as Ebates). It’s so easy and I’ve gotten hundreds in cashback via my Big Fat Check (that’s what they call the cashback) not to mention all the savings from special discounts. Sometimes the big check is just $5 and other times it’s $40. This all depends on what’s been purchased during the time frame between checks.
I’ve received cash back from buying glasses, auto parts, clothing plus booking hotels online, and more! Rakuten is installed on my computer and phone and anytime I am shopping it pops up with discounts and cashback opportunities for the sites that I’m browsing.
I used to put the big fat checks into savings and use the funds for my Christmas shopping. Now, I have it tied to my PayPal, and it is deposited in that account to be used whenever.
I used Raketun for online shopping the most BUT they also have in-store cashback offers for select stores.
Everyone enjoys saving some money when shopping and most can use a little extra cash now and then, I highly recommend using Rakuten for both.
