Welcome to Penned by Pam! I’m Pam!
I’m a middle-aged woman, married to my high school sweetheart for going on 30 years, and mom to two adult children.
Our son and daughter both recently finished their time serving in the military. Our daughter also recently gave us the gift of grandparenthood. A gift we weren’t sure about but we absolutely love. I’ve happily added grandma to the long list of titles that I wear proudly.
We also have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The cats pretty much coexist with us. Our dogs Semper & Fidelis (their names might tell you what branch of the military my children were in) are labs that entered our lives when we found ourselves living the empty nest life. We thought it was too quiet!
As a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, employee, non-profit leader, and community volunteer, I hope to bring you information about all walks of life from my experiences. I have always had the goal to learn something new every day and I hope you’ll follow along as I share what I’ve learned and maybe just maybe we will learn something new together!
